A new Petrushka full of contemporary anguish as Japanese artist Saburo Teshigawara presents a world premiere to celebrate his Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement award in Venice. 

Several notable house debuts, including the renowned director and choreographer Sabuto Teshigawara, enlivened the New National Theatre's first-ever production of Gluck's opera.

Mais Grand Miroir, la nouvelle création de Saburo Teshigawara, suspend le fil musical de Stravinsky par une parenthèse plus méditative : le Violin Concerto composé et dirigé par Esa-Pekka Salonen.

Voir danser Saburo Teshigawara dans une de ses pièces est toujours impressionnant et émouvant. Le chorégraphe japonais a un style bien à lui, absolument inimitable, poétique, éthéré, intense, détaché des conventions, dissocié de l’écoulement du temps.

Mirror and Music, un titre énigmatique pour une œuvre complexe, où Saburo Teshigawara, en portant l’attention sur la surface matérielle des choses, nous invite à regarder de l’autre côté du miroir, au-delà de l’apparence sensible.

Après une création pour l’Opéra de Paris présentée à l’automne dernier, Saburo Teshigawara est de retour à Paris au Théâtre de Chaillot avec un spectacle intitulé Dah-Dah-Sko-Dah-Dah. Représenté pour la première fois en France, l’œuvre perpétue les recherches métaphysiques et corporelles du chorégraphe sur l’air, le souffle, le vide.

All ‘investigators of the fringes of the unknown,’ the three choreographers set in place theatrical devices that mesmerize the audience with enigmatic dreams.
