Venues
The 25 ticketed concerts will take place in Barcelona’s most important classical music theaters: Gran Teatre del Liceu, Palau de la Música Catalana, and L’Auditori. The 27 free concerts will be hosted in architectural gems usually closed to the public.
In honor of Gaudí Year, a series of concerts will be held in four of the architect’s most emblematic masterpieces: Torre Bellesguard, Casa Vicens, Palau Güell, and Casa Batlló.
Beyond Gaudí, the festival celebrates Barcelona’s architectural diversity with performances in venues of extraordinary artistic and historical value, including:
- Torre Collserola, the 288.4-meter communications tower designed by Norman Foster,
- Mirador Torre Glòries, by Jean Nouvel, offering 360° panoramic views of the city from 125 meters high,
- The Gothic Monastery of Pedralbes, founded in the 14th century,
- Museums such as the MUHBA, the European Museum of Modern Art, and the Fundació Joan Miró, among many others.
The festival’s grand finale will take place at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition.
