How to get there? Dubrovnik Airport is the closest airport. From the airport to the Old to the Old Town is possible to reach either by shuttle bus or by car. There is a public garage nearby the Old Town where one can leave a car.

Local accommodation There are many hotels, apartments and hostels around the city. We suggest booking the accommodation in advance.

What can tourists visit nearby? Tourist should definitely visit the City Walls, Island of Lokrum, museums such as Rector's Palace, Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik, House of Marin Držić, Etnographic Museum, Maritime Museum. There are many beautiful places around the city as well, such as Cavtat, Ston and Peninsula of Peljesac, Elafiti Islands.

What type of programmes do you have? Our festival consists mostly of classical music concerts with orchestra perfoming and chamber ensembles as well. We also have recitals and some jazz concerts as well. Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra hosts some of the best Croatian musicians as well as internationally renowned interpreters from all over Europe and the world.

What are the venues like? The concerts are held at the Rector's Palace, amazing, beautiful and acoustically unique historical venue – a museum during a day and a concert hall in the evening. If one wants to visit the Rector's Palace during a day, he/she must buy a ticket for the museum. Rector's Palace is one of the most significant monuments of profane architecture on the Croatian coast. It was the administrative centre of the Dubrovnik Republic. Its style is basically Gothic, with the Renaissance and Baroque reconstructions.

Dress code The dress code is smart casual. It is still summer time in Dubrovnik so guests should dress for hot weather. All concerts are in the evening.

Food & Drink There are many restaurants around the Old Town to have a dinner before the concert. It is not allowed to bring food to the concert, neither a wine. It is allowed to bring water.
