Guide to Mosaic Seasons

About Mosaic Seasons

Mosaic Seasons was founded in 2023 by composer Tatiana Svetlova as a classical music festival based in the South of France and Monaco. Beginning with the 2025–2026 season, Mosaic Seasons will expand its reach to London (UK), Vienna and Salzburg (Austria), Augsburg (Germany), and Paris (France).

The festival’s mission is threefold:

1. To present its signature series “The Music of Today”
2. To collaborate with exceptional yet underrepresented artists in unique and inspiring venues
3. To bring music to children as part of their educational and imaginative journey

Mosaic Seasons envisions a creative dialogue between music, poetry, art, and dance, creating a rich tapestry of artistic experiences.

Beyond concerts, audiences are invited to enjoy informal gatherings with the artists, after-concert soirées, masterclasses, and lectures, fostering a deeper connection between performers and the public.

Venues

Mosaic Seasons has presented concerts in some of Europe’s most iconic locations, including Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Yacht Club de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Bechstein Hall in London, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Mozarteum in Salzburg...

Further venues will be unveiled in upcoming seasons.

Programmes

Mosaic Seasons presents a diverse repertoire, embracing both the classical canon and contemporary creations. The festival also commissions new works, such as the 2023 world premiere of a piano piece by Elena Firsova, performed live by Elizabeth Leonskaja.

Looking ahead, the 2025 Music of Our Time programme will premiere on 14 March 2025, featuring works by George Benjamin, Silvina Milstein, Geoffrey King, Edna Stern, and Tatiana Svetlova.

Mosaic Seasons is also committed to innovative productions, including a new opera planned for 2028.

Young audiences

Introducing children to music and theatre is at the heart of Mosaic Seasons’ educational vision. In October 2023, the festival premiered “Carnival Party!”, a delightful show for children created by Edna Stern and Tatiana Svetlova, inspired by Schumann’s Carnaval, Op. 9.

Performed at the Yacht Club in Monte Carlo, the production combines music, storytelling, and theatrical magic. Children leave the performance with a special Carnival Party book and a recording of the music, encouraging further exploration at home.

The next performance of “Carnival Party!” will take place at Curzon Cinema, Mayfair, London in early 2026.
