Thomas Hampson and Wolfram Rieger perform a selection of Lieder by Schubert and others during Schubert Week in Berlin.

An evening of Lieder with James Gilchrist and Anna Tilbrook promised well, and did deliver occasionally, but sadly enthusiasm got the better of style more than once. 

The penultimate concert in a three-year project to record the complete songs of Hugo Wolf, this Oxford Lieder Festival concert’s programme was based around settings of Goethe.
