Celebrating 25 years of Ballet Black, Hope Boykin’s ...all towards hope and Mthuthuzeli November’s Ingoma showcase the company at its best.

As Ballet Black continues with its 25th anniversary tour, Edinburgh savours a contrasting double bill, Hope Boykin’s ...all towards hope and Mthuthuzeli November’s Ingoma.

Ballet Black presents a double bill at the Linbury that showcases the strengths of its very fine dancers as well as the depth of choreographic innovation in its vast repertoire.

Hope Boykin, a mainstay of the Ailey company for 20 years, wrote and choreographed a dance theatre exploration of her own journey through the dance world.
