Eleven remarkable works from New York City’s longest-running free public dance festival, famous for its eclectic global attitude. 

Two evenings of live dance and a full program of dance films from young choreographers yielded much to admire and be amused by at the Future Dance Festival 2026.

A dozen dances by young choreographers – live and on film – caught my eye at this year's Future Dance Festival at 92NY's Harkness Dance Center in New York City.
