If Purcell’s genius was muted, it was not missing in the Mahler Chamber Orchestra's appearance at London's Southbank.

In commemoration of Britten’s centennial, the Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical, in collaboration with the British Council programmed a series entitled “Britten Classics”. This concert was a highlight.

The London Sinfonietta presented a fascinatingly diverse programme for this concert, one of three themed ‘Remix’ evenings at King’s Place in collaboration with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
