Video on demand: Bass Master Class with Ödön Rácz: Koussevitzky’s Allegro from Double Bass Concerto in F-sharp Minor

The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s principal bassist Ödön Rácz coaches bassist Markus Lang on an excerpt from Koussevitzky’s Allegro from Double Bass Concerto in F-sharp Minor, Op. 3. 

To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on March 1, 2019. Participating young artists—alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2—had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing.
