Thirty years have passed since a tragic event impacted on five budding artists…. Marcello has since become famous as a photographer, and the five reunite at a gallery opening of his early work. As they gaze into the smiling faces of themselves as carefree twentysomethings, their minds go back to the moment that shook their young lives…….

HGO's new production by award-winning opera director Daisy Evans powerfully recreates the exuberance and emotions of Puccini's masterpiece 'La Bohème'. Sung in Italian, fully staged in Jake Wiltshire's exciting stage design, with the HGO Orchestra conducted by Juliane Gallant.
