A powerful work by brave innovators is a legacy for the departing Opera Australia Artistic Director. 

SDC delivers this long-awaited world premiere by Rafael Bonachela, featuring a Bryce Dessner score performed to perfection by the Australian String Quartet.

The Australian String Quartet joins the West Australian Symphony Orchestra under Ludovic Morlot for an enjoyable and  timely round of Beethoven interleaved with John Adams' homage to the 250-year old composer. 

Sydney Dance Company's contrasting double bill revisits Rafael Bonachela's elegantly reflective Frame of Mind and premieres Antony Hamilton's bemusing and rave-inspired Forever & Ever.
