Performer: France Bellemare

Soprano France Bellemare was impressive, both vocally and theatrically, in Poulenc's La Voix humaine.

The Cincinnati Opera presented Another Brick in the Wall, an opera by Julien Bilodeau based on the seminal Pink Floyd album The Wall. While an ambitious undertaking, the results were ultimately mixed.

For the opening production in its 35th anniversary season, Opéra de Montréal pulled out all the stops in Verdi’s Nabucco, presented as a re-enactment of its première in 1842.
