Kenneth Montgomery leads the Orchestra of the 18th Century and a fine team of young soloists in a swift, finely detailed interpretation of La clemenza di Tito.

Finghin Collins and Rosanne van Sandwijk shine as soloists while the Orchestra of the 18th Century was as authoritative as ever under the baton of Kenneth Montgomery. 

His passing last August was no surprise. Anyone who had witnessed Frans Brüggen conduct in recent years knew that he was far from healthy and old for his years.
