What information does Bachtrack collect, and how do we use it?

Bachtrack collects different information for users who specify different things that they wish to do on the website bachtrack.com and/or our mobile app My Bachtrack. Details of the information collected at each stage are shown here.

Information created by you

For some functions, such as requesting to review concerts, setting your preferences or creating a log of events you have been to, we store information that you have created.

We will use this information internally to provide you with the services and improve them, but we will not give access to this information to any third party other than statistically in a form that cannot be traced to you.

We will delete any such information upon request, with the exception of articles and reviews published by Bachtrack authors, whose copyright belongs to Bachtrack,.

Information shared by you

Our web pages and mobile app permit you to share information over various social networks. If you choose to share content then please be aware that the privacy and cookies policies of such third party sites govern the information you submit to them and we encourage you to read them.

Users under 16 years old

If you are under 16 years of age, you must have your parent/guardian's permission before you provide us with any personal information.

How do we safeguard your information

All communication between your browser and bachtrack.com is encrypted using SSL, providing high levels of protection against an intruder wiretapping your information.

Our servers are located at a secure data centre operated by UKFast, a major hosting provider. Other than in essential daily operations, access to the data is restricted to the Bachtrack development team and UKFast support personnel.

How long we will store your information

We hold statistical data indefinitely; however, this data cannot be traced back to your personal identity.

We have no policy on deleting personal data after a fixed period. However, if you request that we delete your personal data, we will do so, provided that any period has expired in which you might claim a refund from us or any provider of payment services that we use.
