Two experimental dance companies from Turkey and Australia brought intriguing, cerebral work to the Hong Kong Arts Festival. 

The Hong Kong Arts Festival's Contemporary Dance Series opened with an impressive, if somewhat uneven, double bill that included the highly imaginative Trouble-maker's Concerto by Justyne Li Sze-yeung and Wong Tan-ki.

Korean dancer-choreographer Hyoseung Ye delivered a profound performance of alienation at the Hong Kong Arts Festival, paired with an irresistible pas de deux à trois by the Taiwanese troupe HORSE, making the all-male showcase a miracle of choreographic, musical and theatrical design.
