Choir and tango? And even a liturgical text together with the most sensual of all dances, how does that fit together? Very well, as you can hear in this concert. In fact, it is a concert of discoveries. Because when do you ever hear a bandoneon in a concert hall? The sister of the accordion was invented in Chemnitz and began its triumphal march when the bandoneon made its entrance into South American tango orchestras at the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, it has become indispensable and in Argentina it is praised as "the best German invention". String orchestra, bandoneon, piano, and our Philharmonic Choir - let yourself be carried away into a musical world full of passion, pride, and sensuality!
