Variety adds more than a little spice to Loré Lixenberg’s life. Whether as vocalist or composer, she treads wondrous creative paths in search of fresh perspectives on the theatre of song. The pioneering mezzo-soprano’s carefully-curated programme includes the byzantine intricacies of her uncanny multitrack take on Handel’s Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 10 and the AI-aided sounds of The HandelBot, together with the haunting Self Portrait Music by the late, great Corsican folk singer Nando Acquaviva.
