Expect creative sparks to fly when two supreme artists make music together. Sergey Khachatryan, described by Crescendo Magazine as ‘the ideal performer’ and ArtsJournal as ‘one of the best out there’, is joined by Tchaikovsky Competition Gold Medallist Alexandre Kantorow, an artist showered with critical superlatives and rewarded with the accolade of a standing ovation during Wigmore Hall’s recent 125th Anniversary celebrations. Their rich and diverse programme ends with Arno Babadjanian’s magnificent Violin Sonata, written in 1959 and dedicated to Dmitry Shostakovich.
