| Liana Lessmann | Clarinet |
| Kenichi Furuya | Bassoon |
| Fernando Jose Martinez Zavala | Oboe |
These five musicians played together for the first time at the Pacific Festival in Sapporo, Japan, founded by Leonard Bernstein. Overcoming boundaries through music and finding unity in diversity – that is the message of the young, international Pacific Quintet, which has already won numerous prizes, including second prize and the audience prize at the ARD Music Competition. In this moderated concert in the light-filled Atelier Bolt, the ensemble presents an attractive programme of classical music (Mozart and Reicha) and French impressionism, such as Claude Debussy’s “Petit Suite” arranged for wind quintet and Maurice Ravel’s enchanting fairy tale cycle “Ma Mère L’Oye” (Mother Goose), in which one finds not only Sleeping Beauty and Tom Thumb but also an enchanted garden. And when Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide” overture resounds at the end, the quintet comes full circle to its beginnings.
Ticket sales will open on March 1, 2026.
