Menu de Saison combines the quality of the familiar Calefax programming with recent discoveries. Just as a chef in a modern restaurant delights guests with fresh, local ingredients, Menu de Saison offers Calefax the opportunity to surprise audiences with newly developed repertoire.
Fresh arrangements of their own making alongside seasoned signature dishes beloved by the public: the programme remains a surprise. What is certain is that in this Menu de Saison, Calefax will perform works by Janáček, Ravel and Prokofiev – favourite composers of the reed quintet who have appeared on several of their albums.
