Tonight we have a rare opportunity to see Swedish trumpet virtuoso Håkan Hardenberger perform HK Gruber's thrilling concerto Aerial.
A concerto roller-coaster in two main parts, the work requires the soloist Håkan (the work's dedicatee) to play the cowhorn, trumpet and piccolo trumpet, as well as perform with trumpet slides removed, not to mention sing and play simultaneously!
