The think tank Unga tankar om musik (”Young thoughts on music”) is an independent network striving to seize the potential and to display the richness of ideas among young professional musicians. In this concert, six of the 40 members of this think tank are performing.

Leilei Tian’s In our image, in our likeness is a playful duet for violin and recorder.

Miklós Maros is a Hungarian-Swedish composer with a rich output. Performed here is a newly written piece, Together, for trumpet and alto saxophone.

By Reine Jönsson we hear the duet Vad ljuset visade (What the light showed) for violin and alto saxophone.

Esaias Järnegard’s Nattarbete (Night Shift) is a piece open to any instrumentation. We hear the piece with recorder, trumpet and piano.

Dorcas Norre (1911–85) grew up in the northern parts of Sweden and studied in Stockholm. Her Sonatine for violin and piano is the oldest piece performed here, composed in 1960.
