Francis Poulenc brings wit and elegance, while Maurice Ravel’s trio offers emotional sweep and rhythmic precision. Paul Schoenfield’s jazz-infused Café Music brings the programme to a close with energy and charm. Together, these works reveal how style, place and individuality shape sound, and how tradition evolves through personal voice.
