2018 : Alexandra Dovgan opens the Mariinsky International Piano Festival with Denis Matsuev and Valery Gergiev. She is only eleven years old, but her maturity is already winning the admiration of her peers. She was praised for the depth of her musical thought, the creativity of her playing and the breadth of her mastery of the keyboard. One thing led to another: 2019 saw her at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Salzburg Festival and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. In 2021, she makes her debut with Gustavo Dudamel and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Then there are the festivals of La Roque d'Anthéron, the Ruhr and Gstaad in 2022, and Verbier the following year. The young Russian prodigy, born into a family of four generations of pianists and winner of five international competitions, never ceases to dazzle.
