Franco-Belgian star cellist Camille Thomas joins forces with French pianist Julien Brocal for their latest programme, Rendez-vous.
The first cellist in forty years to sign with Deutsche Grammophon, Camille captivates audiences worldwide with a rare combination of technical finesse and exuberant stage presence. Having won numerous accolades, Camille has released several critically acclaimed albums, including her 2023 release The Chopin Project, which has been streamed over ten million times.
In this recital, two of France’s most brilliant musicians reimagine some of the most iconic works, from Bach/Gounod’s Ave Maria to Saint-Saëns’ The Swan, pairing them with new compositions by these two artists inspired by these classics.
