This year’s festival kicks off with Tchaikovsky’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ Fantasy-Overture before Sol Gabetta performs Elgar’s Cello Concerto. Finally, hear one of the greatest cantatas of the 20th century – Prokofiev’s Alexander Nevsky.
