A totally absorbing production, Matthew Bourne’s The Car Man at Sadler’s Wells will leave you emotionally drained, in a positive way.

In The Midnight Bell, Sir Matthew Bourne has produced some of his best choreography, loose and free-flowing but tense with desire and mixed with dread.

Great storytelling and passionate performances infuse this transfer of Sir Matthew Bourne's dance theatre classic to the RAH arena.

A world premiere for New Adventures is much less dance than theatre but, when needed, Bourne's choreography carries the story along outstandingly.

Matthew Bourne’s Play Without Words is exactly that, a narrative conveyed through movement rather than speech. Bourne was inspired by Joseph Losey’s film The Servant, starring Dirk Bogarde. Harold Pinter wrote the screenplay and the brooding ambiguity of the film triggered the idea of this intimate dance theatre piece.
