New production, sung in Italian with English titles

Opera North’s first ever production of one of Handel’s most popular operas is directed by Tim Albery and conducted by Baroque specialist Laurence Cummings. It will also be Opera North’s first mainstage production to be created from recycled, re-used and second-hand sources, as part of the Company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
