Finale of the Valletta International Baroque Festival

Die Sächsische Staatskapelle und ihr Chefdirigent Daniele Gatti gastieren in der Alten Oper Frankfurt. Sie brillieren mit einem Programm, welches die französische und deutsche Vielfalt der Romantik auslotet.

Zum Abschluss der 10. Festivalausgabe unter Ausrichtung Simon Pickels lösten Ensemble und Solistin Boud den Wunsch des Veranstalters so ein, dass jener und Gäste sich nach baldiger Wiederholung sehnen.

Auf ihrer Tournee durch die Schweiz lösen Teodor Currentzis und das Utopia Orchestra wahre Begeisterungsstürme aus. Bergs Violinkonzert mit Vilde Frang und Mahlers Erste stehen auf dem Programm.

Beim 1685-Programm schien die Zeit im Moment der Aufführung still zu stehen, derart gefangen nahm Pichons energiegetriebene, einbläuende Interpretation.
