New chief conductor Jaime Martín proved to be on fire getting the best from the RTÉ NSO in tonight's works by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Beethoven, while Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Montero delights with her musicianship and improvisation.

Raymond Keane (Night Watchman), Raphaela Mangan, Miriam Murphy, Ben McAteer, Amy Ní Fhearraigh © Patrick Redmond

An all-Beethoven tribute in Dublin worthy of any of the great music capitals of Europe.

A fantastic all-Tchaikovsky concert in which cellist Natalie Clein gave a magnificent rendition of the Rococo Variations.
