Dreamscapes in New York: genre-busting composers showcased by the American Composers Orchestra

Grace Lichtenstein is a former New York Times news reporter and Rocky Mountains bureau chief. She is the author of several books, including Musical Gumbo: The Music of New Orleans (with Laura Dankner). She is a member of PEN, the Authors Guild and the National Book Critics Circle. A native of Brooklyn, NY Grace is a graduate of Brooklyn College. In recent years, as a freelance contributor to numerous national magazines and websites, she has focused on contemporary classical music and book reviewing. Her favorite composers include Messiaen and Jennifer Higdon. She lives in Manhattan.
