Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts a high-energy program of works by Coleman, Liszt and Dvořák, but there are moments of reflection too, not least Trifonov's Ukrainian encore.

The Russian conductor proves a super stand-in for Shostakovich, while Simon Trpčeski has fun with the Second Piano Concerto.

This well devised programme brought out the best of The Sixteen in first rate performances under the charismatic Harry Christophers.

A marvelous musician, Mikhail Pletnev, conveyed a fresh perspective on the inner works of Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto.

Autores fundamentales del piano llenaron el programa del intérprete ucraniano, quien hizo gala de sus credenciales artísticas.
