Live, Video: Find classical music concert, opera, ballet and dance reviews | Ballet Nights

Jamiel Devernay-Laurence’s Ballet Nights is celebrating its third birthday. Initially a more intimate affair at The Lanterns Studio Theatre, Ballet Nights has grown into a regular feature on the dance calendar.

The increasingly popular Ballet Nights performs at the Edinburgh Fringe for the first time to welcoming crowds.

Another tick for the Ballet Nights team, the audience at Cadogan Hall enjoying a varied and exceptional programme of new and legacy works.

Ballet Nights is an ambitious dance project that began two and a half years ago and was the brainchild of founder, Jamiel Devernay-Laurence. Lots to applaud while celebrating its tenth programme.

Jamiel Devernay-Laurence’s winning formula for his Ballet Nights series has brought in new and old works, concert and dance, and continues to push the boundaries into 2026.

In true Ballet Nights tradition, Bound in Motion presented the Cadogan Hall audience with an eclectic mix of old and new works and some outstanding performances.

Ballet Nights is more than an evening of party pieces: it showcases emerging talent alongside older favourites and, in the case of this first Scottish outing, has an eye to local tradition.

Ballet Nights 008 – Spring into Summer proved to be a judicious choice of quality and diverse repertoire.

Ballet Nights returns to Cadogan Hall in its latest incarnation with plenty of excitement and surprises.
