Davóne Tines performs Recital No.1: MASS – an American celebration with a very personal difference.
For baritone Davóne Tines, music can change the world – if we let it. “You have to try to model the world that you want to live in” he says, and tonight he curates and performs in the first Birmingham performance of MASS - which weaves music by Bach into an urgent, multi-voiced exploration of musical America as it is and as it might be.
