Eunoé

Eunoé is a dive into a river that, according to Dante and the Divine Comedy , has magical properties: whoever drinks its water retains the memory of past good deeds. Conceived as a memory machine by Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle in dialogue with neuroscientists and a hypnotherapist, this immersive installation explores the power of water and its sounds on memory.

Five water-filled glass sculptures, connected by a network of hydrophones and pipes, form this "brain" where precious reminiscences circulate with the sound fluids. Assisted in her performance by a hypnosis practitioner, the artist leads us into the emancipatory depths of deep listening and into a reverie you won't soon forget!
