‘So moving it hardly seemed of this world,’ Trouw wrote in 2025 about Martha Argerich’s performance with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Lahav Shani. Since Lahav became affiliated with our orchestra, Argerich has never missed an opportunity to return and make music here. Now she comes back with Beethoven. It is bound to be another miracle, for Martha Argerich is capable of nothing less.
