Royal Orchestra & Stemme

The Royal Swedish Orchestra’s 500th anniversary celebrations continue with a magnificent start to this autumn’s concerts. A powerful programme of Wagner’s works features Nina Stemme as a soloist and Alan Gilbert conducting.

Take your seat in the auditorium for Isolde’s Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde and the final scene of Götterdämmerung, showcasing Stemme’s fiery voice, the Royal Swedish  Orchestra, and Music Director and Royal Court Kapellmeister Alan Gilbert. As well as music by Wagner, you can also hear Wilhelm Stenhammar’s Serenade, a Swedish symphonic classic.
