A dance party full of energy and swing.
Festive Balkan music performed by young musicians from Södra Latin Upper Secondary School. Brassbabes And The Balkan Band grew out of the sheer joy of playing that characterises this repertoire: music filled with powerful energy, swing and improvisation. With a powerful sound and their own arrangements, Brassbabes And The Balkan Band invites audiences to a Balkan dance celebration. The band consists of Mattias Fürstenbach (clarinet), Melker Lundblad (saxophone), Majra Ekman (trombone and trumpet), Sofia Strömberg (sousaphone) and Elton Gard (drums).
