Chamber Concert with the Joseph Keilberth Orchestra Academy

When fellows of the Joseph Keilberth Orchestra Academy perform chamber music together with musicians from the Bamberg Symphony, one can hear what it means to support young talents: intense, lively, at the highest level – and yet very close to the everyday life of a large orchestra. This is because the nuanced interaction in a small ensemble hones what is essential in an orchestra: attentive cooperation, breathing together, listening to every detail. The chamber concert is therefore not only a special musical experience, but also an important stepping stone in the training of the next generation of orchestra musicians. The audience can look forward to a wide-ranging programme of chamber music works – a true »carte blanche«, the exact content of which will only be announced shortly before the concert. We are particularly delighted to be working once again with the Bamberg Music School, where the concert will take place for the first time in its new festive hall – a beautiful venue for musical encounters and partnership-based promotion of young talent.
