Since 2023, the Taiwan Philharmonic (NSO) has invited violinist Paul Huang, based in the United States, to curate the "Paul Huang & Friends" Chamber Music Festival. This year marks its fourth season, which will kick off with "Americana - Appalachian Spring."

The concert will feature the Piano Trio by Jennifer Higdon, an American composer who has won both the Pulitzer Prize for Music and the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Classical Composition, as well as the chamber music version of Copland's ballet Appalachian Spring, a rare treat. Additionally, the program includes Dvořák's String Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 97, American, written during his time in the United States. This piece blends the flavors of both the New World and Bohemia, full of rich rural charm that captivates the listener.

With an exceptional performance lineup, the concert will bring to life timeless masterpieces. Only by attending the performance in person can one truly understand what it means to experience a "classic"!
