VIYAF Virtuosi – Great Piano Concertos I

VIYAF Virtuosi – Great Piano Concertos brings the collaboration between Meta Management GmbH, the Filarmonica Arad, and conductor Martin Braun back to the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein. Following the successful Arad-Vienna concerts in 2025, the format continues in 2026 under the new title VIYAF Virtuosi – Great Piano Concertos: On August 15 and 16, at 3:30 p.m. each day, two focused programmes invite audiences to rediscover the diversity and brilliance of the piano concerto.

The programme focuses on the great tradition of this genre – with works and concert pieces by Edvard Grieg, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Robert Schumann, and Ludwig van Beethoven. It is complemented by further selected solo performances and a contemporary original work. The detailed programme will be announced at a later date.

The Filarmonica Arad performs under the direction of Martin Braun. The soloists of the VIYAF Virtuosi series thus perform within a professional orchestral setting that combines musical development, artistic personality, and the vibrant tradition of the classical concert format.

The concerts are aimed at an international audience in Vienna as well as at all those who wish to enjoy the special atmosphere of the Golden Hall in the summer and experience the sound world of great piano concertos in all their expressiveness.
