‘The purpose of life is to pass the message on.’

Our students perform alongside the London Sinfonietta in a tribute to one of the ensemble’s longest standing collaborators, Sir Harrison Birtwistle, former Visiting Professor of Composition at the Academy.

Tonight’s concert is a showcase of an enormous and mysterious ingenuity –and, at its heart, is a celebration of the late, great composer.
