The French early music ensemble Les Récréations loves to discover 'new' Baroque repertoire. These musicians have unearthed many forgotten gems, which they perform as expressively as possible. This morning, the ensemble focuses on two centuries of string quartet music, before the genre became established with Haydn and Mozart. With music by Alessandro Scarlatti, Tartini, Sammartini, Boccherini, and others.
