Hildur Guðnadóttir - Where to From

To mark the 20th anniversary of her first solo album Mount A, Oscar-winning composer Hildur Guðnadóttir presents Where to From, a concert of intimate compositions. For Guðnadóttir, the title reflects direction and movement: when you create something, an idea emerges from nothing and develops from a starting point into its own destination.

After a few years of touring less, she’s now back on stage, joined by an ensemble of musician friends. They perform Where to From together, in dialogue with a selection of her earlier works. Their shared instrument is strings and voices, which creates a natural resonance when they play together.

For this performance, the music is paired with a dynamic lighting design by Theresa Baumgartner. The concert becomes an immersive experience in which sound and light blend, drawing you into Guðnadóttir’s unique musical world.
