The second salon concert of ACO’s 42nd season features 18th-century English & American Colonies music by William Billings, Thomas Davy, G.F. Handel, John Hawkins, and André Grétry, all repertoire included in Thomas Jefferson’s vast library at Monticello.

Thomas Jefferson was himself an accomplished violinist who welcomed musicians to join him at Monticello. His important collection of music repertoire ranged from string quartets and symphonies to popular songs during the Revolution. Expert early music vocalists Elisse Albian and Rocky Duval team up with ACO violinist Edson Scheid to recreate a soirée of music from the library of our third United States President.
