| Maya Kilburn | Violon |
What happens when you take a violin recital out of the concert hall and into a film studio?
Violinist Maya Kilburn comes to Hackney Wick for a very special recital with pianist Pablo Esquivel.
Maya is a Juilliard-trained violinist with a substantial following online, where she shares glimpses of life as a musician. This time, we’re bringing things a little closer: just 30 guests in an all-white film studio, with no concert-hall distance between performer and audience.
And there’s an extra personal touch.
When you book, you can send Maya a question or a message. She’ll read it privately and write you a handwritten reply, ready to collect when you arrive. Ask her about music, performing, life as a violinist, or absolutely anything else you’ve been curious about.
The programme takes us from French romanticism to the intensity of Piazzolla, with pianist and special guest Pablo Esquivel joining her on stage.
There’ll be time for conversation and meeting the performers afterwards.
Tickets: £40 · Just 30 places
