Through his beautiful setting of her exquisite words, Copland invites us on a journey into the mind of the reclusive poet, capturing her extraordinary humanity and searing clarity as she explores themes of love and loss, nature and friendship. A single voice and piano collaborate in this haunting yet uplifting work.

This new production created specially for film stars soprano April Koyejo-Audiger and pianist Sergey Rybin. The staging is directed by Matthew Eberhardt and filmed by Tin Vlainic at Hoxton Hall.
