Jenny Mollica, currently CEO of English National Opera (ENO) and the London Coliseum, has announced she will leave her role to join the Roundhouse, as its new Chief Executive Officer.

After joining the ENO in 2020 as Director of Strategy and Engagement, Mollica led ENO Engage, the opera company’s learning and participation programme, and spearheaded ENO’s partnership with Greater Manchester in 2023.
Mollica previously spent over a decade at the Barbican and Guildhall School of Music & Drama as Director of Creative Learning, where she shaped cross-arts programmes, festivals and events spanning music, theatre, dance, visual arts, film and literature.
Based in Camden, north London, the Roundhouse is housed in a Grade II* listed 19th-century railway engine shed. First used as a performing arts space in the 1960s, it is regarded as one of London’s most loved music venues. Current CEO and Artistic Advisor Marcus Davey, who will continue in his role until 2026, will step down after 27 years at the helm.
Under Marcus Davey’s leadership since 1999, the Roundhouse transformed from a dormant heritage building into a world-class performing arts venue. Working with over 11,000 young people aged 11–30 every year as part of its youth programme, the organisation also includes Roundhouse Works and Creative Studios, where musicians, filmmakers, podcasters and performers can hire studio space for as little as £1 an hour.
“I look forward to building on the extraordinary legacy of Marcus Davey, whose visionary leadership has been nothing short of inspirational,” Mollica said. “It represents an utterly thrilling and unique opportunity – and one that I look forward to immensely.”
Marcus Davey added: “I’ve known Jenny for many years, and I couldn’t be more delighted to be handing over the reins of the incredible Roundhouse organisation to someone I have long admired”
Future plans include continuing to expand The Roundhouse’s impact through youth arts programmes, nurturing the next generation of artists, and building on the success of the Three Sixty Festival, held in April this year.
