The Seattle Chamber Music Society opens its 2025 summer festival with a program of striking emotional depth, musical refinement and rapturous ensemble connection.

Opening their season’s residency in their London home with the theme of “German Romantics”, Wigmore Hall was plunged into an autumnal glow.

An attractive concert of the unusual repertoire performed by the IMS Prussia Cove – two little known string quintets by Beethoven and Mendelssohnn and a 20th century string quartet by Martinů that is woefully neglected in the concert hall.
