Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra principal clarinetist Daniel Ottensamer coaches clarinetist Katia Waxman on an excerpt from the second movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 in B-flat Major, Op. 60.

To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on February 22, 2018. Participating young artists—alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2—had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing.
